Will It Work With My Washer? Front-Load, Top-Load and HE Compatibility

Cream laundry nook with a front-load washer, a coiled steel hose, a wrench and a folded towel on a pale oak counter
EcoWasher

Short answer: EcoWasher® works with any top-load or front-load washer, HE or standard. It connects to the cold-water inlet. Most people finish the setup in about ten minutes.

What “compatibility” means here

You keep the washer you already own. EcoWasher® sits on the wall behind it and feeds ozone into the cold water before the water reaches the drum.

The washer brand does not matter for a normal home machine. The cold-water inlet and a bit of wall space do.

Tip — Look behind your washer once before you order. Confirm a cold-water hose, a nearby outlet, and a clear wall strip for the bracket.

What EcoWasher® SE is

EcoWasher® SE is the compact home model. It is built so everyday loads never need laundry detergent again. Cold water is the normal mode.

How the cold-water hookup works

EcoWasher® mounts on the wall behind the machine. It uses the included hardware to join the cold-water line.

Once it is on, set the washer to cold and start a cycle. Ozone mixes into the water before it reaches the drum, then returns to ordinary oxygen.

Before you order

  1. Find the cold-water inlet behind the washer.
  2. Confirm a wall strip for the mounting bracket.
  3. Check for a nearby outlet.
  4. Plan for about ten minutes with an adjustable wrench.
  5. Read the setup guide if you want the steps in writing.

Who SE fits

SE suits most homes that want a compact cabinet plus a spray hose. The hose helps with fresh spots before the wash. Our spot-treating guide covers that use.

Prefer the simplest start? Pro is the laundry-only option at $337 on sale.

Need heavy volume? Look at EXL. Our model guide and the SE vs Pro post explain the ladder.

Pro is not a step down from SE. They are different feature sets.
